The Wylds

The name says it all. It is Wyld. A zone heavily under development that has so much potential. Trails are in place for much of the area but need continous work! All the boulders developed so far are of great quality. The stone is second to none at the Nooks.

    Wrap AroundV5⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start on the left side of the short boulder. Hands just right of the crack on the face. Traverse the lip to the right on slopers and make it to the jug. Top out by keep moving up the arête.
    Arctic HaloV6⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sit Start down and left on a slanting crimp rail. Get off the ground and immediately enter the crux by traversing to the right using underclings, heel hooks, and slopers. Get around to the corner and tackle the big but oddly graspable holds on the arête to the top.
    Chainsaws AkimboV6⭐⭐⭐
Start underneath the roof very low in the vertical crack and work through the awesome crack feature to meet a crux pulling the roof!
    Dying BreedV6-
Stand start on crimps. Make a few heinous moves to a sloper rail. Traverse left to topout.
    Halfway to BootyV6⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start on the mega jug horn underneath and in the middle of the severe overhang. Make a big move to the lip and work the arête left and copout on the fin.
    The AstronomerV6⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sit start with your hands in a variety of places along the obvious crack feature that turns the corner. Squeeze your way up perfect slopers and gain a massive jug. Take a deep breath and tackle the easy but daunting slab up to the top. Prep and inspect the slab if possible.
    The VoidV6⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start on a perfect juggy sloper rail and tackle the crux by figuring out how to extend far enough to reach the next holds. Establish on the slab and finish up the easy highball.
    ZombieV6⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sit start under the left side of the severe overhang on the far left side of the boulder. Start with both hands on a jug and climb the huge sloper feature, traversing right, to topout in the crack feature.
    Big ToeV7⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start on the underside of the overhanging crack pretty far down. Climb the overhang using many underclings and sidepulls. A crux right before the slab will make this fun. The fun stops when your on the slab. Be careful and watch your step. It's a highball people.
    Double BubbleV7⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start below the double bubble on crimps. Make some techy moves to enter the crack. Continue up the crack feature through interesting moves and hand jams to top out above.
    Hidden Treasure SDSV7-
Sit start way down and right ton two separate holds. Climb the intro to 'Gimme that Booty' and exit on hidden treasure up the middle of the face.
    Saving GraceV7⭐⭐⭐⭐
A sick Nooks addition in The Wylds at a new zone. Start on a slanting jug near the ground and climbing into an undercling position. Then Launch for massive sloper. And do a heinously cool topout onto incredibly slopey terrain. Make note, the first ascentionist did not top the cliff. Choosing to jump down instead. So a “top and drop problem. But not really.”
    FriendshipV8⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sit start on a perfect flat jug and a flat crimp right next to it. Raise up and flip to an undercling and move through the difficult slopers and gain the dihedral. Top out on the small ledge. A hand jam well above your head may come in handy.
    Side Hustle LowV8-
Start on the obvious crescent shaped undercling. Establish your feet and thrutch to the better holds up and left. finish on the arête using hands and feet around the corner.
    American BadassV9⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Start under the roof a sloping/flat rail. Move left and upwards to tackle perfectly sculped sloping holds. Tackle the easy but tall finish.
