Jugs

June 19, 2026 Stellar quality on this one! The harder moves are in the first half - once you get to the jugs it's easier climbing but still felt slightly committing due to the height. The landing is relatively flat but it is rocky (and there's a tree). Take caution if you're just breaking into the grade.

There's jugs around the corner that may or may not be in. Considering it's V2 and that the guidebook makes no mention of them being off, I'm just gonna assume they're in.

It has been a year since started bouldering. Luckily I had a chance to boulder outdoor at Niagara Glenn with friends on a special day. How was it? The weather was great, but bouldering on real rock wasn't easy at all. No matter what type of hold, crimps, jugs,... most of them were in a sharp and uneven shape, so holding them properly wasn't easy. I have to appreciate the indoor climbing holds. No more complains in any type of holds in the gym lol. Even the crappy, old, dusty or slippery one in any gym, still they are better than the real rock in my opinion. :) Cheers!

Over the past few years I have looked at this boulder every time I was close by and could never understand how to even start... Finally, I committed to giving a real effort to figure this thing out. Pull off the ground using a left hand undercling and bad right sidepull. Fire to the mail slot and topout on big jugs. Flesh Prince V7 is found on the right side of the Band Saw boulder upon entering Central from the descending stairs. Start under the bulge with two hands on the undercling, climb up using side pulls and bomb left to the crimp to top out using jugs.
