Last summer (2021) I brought back the glen top ten challenge! This time going for my top ten V8s at the niagara glen in a day. I was heading out for a climbing trip to the west coast in a week or so and used this an opportunity to test myself, and build up my physical preparedness and mental confidence. Doing this was a bit of a risk. If it didn't go well, it could have easily done the opposite - grinding me down physically and mentally. If I gave myself a challenge that was too easy, it wouldn't have had much benefit. Come along this VLOG style day at the glen as I share some of my tips, thoughts, analysis, and of course, climbing! After climbing Energy Crisis in The Niagara Glen, I realized I never really properly projected a boulder problem. In April 2021, when all the gyms where closed, we were getting our climbing fix by visiting niagara glen and climbing at the bizzaro region. We managed to send Necromancer, a climb newly added to the love boat boulder. It starts to the far right at the back of the cave on an undercling and good edge, where you work through slopers to connect back into the Orient Express starting edge and out to the same finish. Though that was the original intention for the route, we took a short cut and sent with a short person beta using the shallow crimp in the roof Maria's Send - 1:05 Ratul's Send - 1:56
