Sullivan Lake

Sullivan Lake is a beautiful area located about a half hour drive south west of the main Calabogie boulder area. In addition to the great climbing, it has amazing camping right on the lake, with great swimming access and a communal canoe and rowboat. It is well worth it to hike in a tent and supplies to spend a weekend camping.

It has around 70 established problems and features some of the largest boulders you will ever see. Large enough that there are also a handful of sport and trad routes.

The incredible sport line that dominates the area. Awesome climbing that doesn't let up until the chains. Six bolts to chains. A 40 m rope is sufficient.
    Windego5.10d-
Bolted route that traverses the lip to the apex of the boulder. A bit weird. Five bolts and a 40 m rope needed.
    God of War5.10b⭐⭐⭐
Jams are good but sustained and the top out is the crux. Gear to 3 inches.
    Pale Horse5.10a
Stand start on the huge ledge 2 m left of the crack. Follow the ledge up and right to the crack. Drop off or finish as Reap What you Sew.
    Reap What you Sew.5.10a⭐⭐
Sit start and climb the arching crack. Takes gear to 3". Sew it up! Tree anchor on top. A good boulder problem just up to where the crack turns left goes at V0/V1.
